1. Agreement and Provider
These Terms govern your use of Mahjong Mosaic, provided by zhang hongzhe, an individual developer based in the United States.
By using the game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. If you are below the legal age to enter into this agreement, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License
Subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the game for non-commercial entertainment.
Ownership of the game and its intellectual property remains with the developer or the respective rights holders.
3. Gameplay and Virtual Coins
Mahjong Mosaic is a single-player tile-matching puzzle game with level progression, daily challenges, scores, and optional gameplay tools.
Virtual coins are earned or granted within the game and can be used for gameplay tools. The current version does not sell virtual coins or offer real-money purchases or subscriptions.
Virtual coins, scores, and rewards have no monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for money, transferred outside the game, or used for gambling or cash prizes.
4. Local Saves
Progress and settings are stored locally on your device. The current version does not provide an account, developer-operated cloud backup, or cross-device synchronization.
Deleting app data, clearing browser storage, uninstalling the game, changing devices, or experiencing storage failures may result in lost progress. Recovery may not be possible. Device backup behavior depends on your operating system and settings.
Daily challenges depend on the local date reported by your device.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use the game unlawfully, distribute unauthorized copies, interfere with its operation, or infringe another person’s rights.
Restrictions in these Terms do not limit activities that applicable law expressly permits, including any rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Privacy
Information handling is described in the accompanying Privacy Policy. Please read it to understand local game storage, support correspondence, and visits to our legal website.
7. Updates and Availability
We may release updates or change features. We do not promise that every feature or device will be supported indefinitely.
Changes remain subject to applicable law and any rights you have under the relevant app store’s terms. These Terms do not authorize us to override mandatory consumer protections.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or recovery of lost progress.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game, including loss of locally stored progress.
This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Ending Use
You may stop using the game at any time and uninstall it. Your license ends if you materially violate these Terms, subject to any notice or remedy required by applicable law.
Provisions that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property and applicable liability provisions, survive termination.
11. Applicable Law and Disputes
Applicable United States federal law and relevant state law govern these Terms, subject to conflict-of-law rules and mandatory protections that apply where you live.
Please contact us first if a dispute arises. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive rights to bring claims in a court with jurisdiction.
12. App Store Terms
If you obtain the game through an app store, that store’s applicable terms also govern your download and use.
These Terms are between you and the developer. Support questions about the game should be directed to the developer, while store transactions and platform services remain subject to the store’s procedures.
13. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms. The revised version will show an updated effective date, and additional notice or consent will be provided when required by law.
